IP Portfolio

 

iTomography owns an exclusive license to a portfolio of patents and CT imaging technologies developed by the University of Central Florida professor Dr. Alexander Katsevich.  The portfolio includes Katsevich’s breakthrough discovery of the first fast and exact 3D CT image reconstruction algorithm.  This discovery enabled efficient and accurate reconstructions for advanced multi-slice scanners.  The CT industry refers to this algorithm as the “Katsevich algorithm”.  Advances inspired by this breakthrough are utilized in many CT scanners deployed today. 

 

Our IP portfolio also includes new issued and pending patents filed by the iTomography team.
